You won't hear anything negative from me about this post. You're right on point, including the portion about churches catering to the "self" problem. My husband is a pastor, and just this week dealt with someone who wasn't happy with what he preaches because it doesn't focus on what he thinks it should - for him, church is about what he wants to hear, not what God wants him to hear.
