Like a Christian Who Has Not Read Romans
Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. (NKJV) We are in the middle of another Presidential election year. America is more polarized than ever across idealogical lines. The fewest Americans in all of our history can even communicate the basics of our founding principles, causes and events. I do not believe that the Gospel’s primary mission is to cultivate social change. Social change is a by-product of changed hearts, for sure.
